This dress is sort of like the Yes Dress but without the shelf bra - it would be great if it had one.
Pros: heavier than usual fabric for this type of dress but makes it really versatile as a travel choice as do the secure pockets; can dress up/dress down; seam at waist is a nice detail. Cons: like so many clothes now as sizes keep growing - dress overall too large, more like a generous small. I could live with the skirt, as the a-line avoids a too-baggy look, but the top is loose all over and the fabric isn't made for that. Debating whether the cost is worth returning (purchased on sale) or if I can make it work. Great dress if it happens to fit! Would recommend with the above caveats.

This black dress is a dream! I've seen it on here for years and always thought about it but never tried it on/bought it, and I'm so glad I did. It's very flattering, especially around the stomach (in contrast to the 'yes dress', which I think is so cute but really accentuates my slightly not flat tummy, so I returned). This dress is the perfect length, and it has the snap to keep the dress from flying around when biking, etc.
The fabric weight and finish of this dress reminded me of old-school poly sweatsuit material (think Run DMC). I am high-waisted with a small bust and wide hips (38A-30-curvy 40) so the cut would have been good for me if the straps were 1" shorter but it was also a little too clingy and warm for my liking so I returned.
