I just received the pants, love the rich brown color and the fabric hangs so well, but they may be a touch too large for me, but I think medium would be too small - regardless of the sizing, I'm not so keen on the leg pocket straps. They are meant to be part of the design but they feel like I'm wearing fringes on my pants. I'm not sure if I'm keeping them or not.

I wore these pants for the first time hiking in Death Valley this week. Temps hit over 90F and it was nice to have the cool light fabric which has lots of stretch. I could lose a few pounds so the pants were snug around the belly, but I am motivated to fit the small. Even still they are flattering and great outdoor pants.
