Would be great hiking pants! Big side pockets for phone. But they are so comfy and FIT me, that I'll wear them out and about too! A roomy size 8.

I like the pants. Very comfy.. love the scrunch on the side. Either my behind is bigger than I thought, or the pants are smaller, but everything is snug. My husband likes it so take that as you will. (I have never thought of returning).

I wear these as casual, everyday pants and for hiking. They have just the right amount of stretch. They are slightly higher than my natural waist but aren't too tight. I have a 10 year old pair that are a bit stained from yard work but show no wear at all.

The fabric is great, the pockets are sensational and deep, and the length is top notch for someone with a 33" inseam. However, the consistency of sizing between the colors is crazy variable. I have 3 pairs, all bought this year, in 3 colors. The tan pants are so loose they require a pin in the waist. The navy pants are a perfect fit on me. The black pants are the smallest, and if I had the time before the trip I would exchange for an 8 but I don't have time. I don't understand why there is so much difference between the colors. Other than that, they are great pants for hiking, climbing, dog walking or any other outdoor activity and would be fine to wear in casual restaurants and resorts.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
