I bought these several years ago in a regular medium and, although they had to be hemmed, I loved them. When petite sizing became available I jumped at the opportunity to get another pair. Love the lightweight, stretchy fabric, flowy cut, wide, nonrestrictive waistband, and very deep pockets. Super versatile - perfect for travel, leisure, even dress-up.

The petite version of these pants fit well in the waist and hips. However the photos online did not show how they are mid calf length and not to the ankle length as in the pictures. For some that might be a look that they like, but it was not my preference. I returned these and purchased the full length ones instead.

The design of these "pants" (I call them culottes) is well thought out, a very tailored look with extra features built in that really work in all situations. I love the slim, zipped pocket for valuables, along with the roomy pockets on both side for hands. I took my first pair to Europe and hiked 2 weeks with them. After a day-long hike, the pants were wonderfully presentable at a nice restaurant and anywhere on the city streets. They are very stylish, but don't sacrifice comfort and vice versa! And so packable in a suitcase, the ultimate travel clothing. The only complaint I would have is that the purple material feels thinner than the original maroon color I got. That may be a plus for others, but I liked the more substantial weight of the maroon color. One other thing: I'm only 5 feet tall, and I didn't have to shorten these (they are a petite, but I often have to shorten stuff, regardless). Yay, saves a lot of time hemming, adjusting! That the beauty of this design, it's flexible.

I was shopping for a travel outfit that looked put together but could handle walking in warmer weather and this outfit checked all boxes for me! The pants were (surprisingly) NOT too long and the ankle snaps provided two different looks-great for travel. The soft band is very comfortable (I am a little puffy in that area). The monotone top/bottom and a scarf or sweater gave me the "I have been walking all day but it's time for dinner!" option I needed for this trip. Nothing was too clingy-again great for me.

Loved the cropped look of these wide leg pants. I also bought the matching sleeveless tank. Great look to dress up or down and so easy!
